I wanted to visit when we were in Spain. Should have just spent a day or two in Madrid and gone there. We loved Barcelona! Merry Christmas!

My sister in law used to live there. or maybe she still does. I forget. Anyhow I've wanted to visit her but that would require me to get on a plane which would require me to leave my zip code. If you see somebody who looks like Nohe but 6 inches shorter her name is Iliana. 🤣

Such a great story. Free walking tours are a must for first time visits. Malaga is a great place for a second home. Let us know when Denise buys.😎🙀🙀🙀

This was a delightful post! Thank you for my much-needed injection of humor! Pimpi’s and then going to church! How perfect! I cackled! But the place sounds quite lovely! And while I know nothing about Spain, but plan to explore it a bit in the next couple of years, I found this really interesting! Best wishes to you both for a wonderful and productive New Year!

Karen, it certainly takes more “guts” to do this on your own…but if you are serious I encourage you to consider it. We have friends visiting from the States. They are in their 80’s. Yesterday one commented that if she was 20 years younger, and after seeing our life here, she would make the move. Many of us feel we have only one life…let us leave it without regrets.

Lovely, one question: was that 4 hours by train or automobile? Thanks for sharing.
