Oh my. I get tired if I have to hit the Pickleball more than 3 times. Pedal is definitely for the young with good legs. Doubt the have a 75-79 division. LOL

Nancy, Mary is spot on. Maria is trying to organize PB in several locations. A gentleman named Leon Guens currently has organized play in VAU (Obidos). I only wish I was there to put our thinking caps on together to bring this sport the attention it needs. I’ll sign up and be your first member if you and Denise build courts on your property.😘

We’ll, that certainly was fun to watch. Do seniors play the sport? Are there 55+ communities in Portugal? I am a pickleball player living in such a community on the West Coast.

I am not aware of any over 55 communities in Portugal...and yes, people of all ages play the sport

You two are so amazing and an inspiration to all. BTW I have two people coming to visit VRSA from Palm Springs so I keep thinking of you two!

I have never been a pedal, tennis or pickleball player. I used to love the game of handball - especially playing shots off the wall. It was amazing to see the pedal player go through the open door to try and play the shot.

Right after we moved to Porto there was a group that met in Matosinhos to play pickelball. You can search 'Pickleball" in the Facebook group Porto Expats to see the post. A woman named Maria Rodrigues Munz set it up. Maybe you and Denise can contact her to see if she knows any groups close to you.
