It's good that you are experiencing typical weather. I have had to eliminate locations in the Algarve because I'm not great with temps that can linger in or exceed the mid 80s. Yeah, it's a dry heat so 85 F feels like a cool 29 C. Glad you are having a good time.
I just read up on VRSA and it sounds like a lovely place. Very interesting history. However, I am especially interested in your take on IL. I found that site several years ago when I first decided I wanted to retire abroad. I lived in Germany for 4 years during my younger years, so i know I can live abroad quite happily. As I read more IL sales releases (yes they recommend where they have investments) I thought “This doesn’t seem real or genuine. This is not what I am reading about these places.” Anyway, I do credit them with the first thought of looking into Portugal. And I am very much looking forward to the next installment. I hope the arm is healing well.
Nancy, do I really have to wait till next week? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣From everything I have read , VRSA appears to have the most charm and genuineness. Love the town square. Train available, Spain next door, Tavira close for evening weekend entertainment at hotel, flat walking town. My biggest question will be, is it to small and will you get bored?

Which golf courses are there near vila real de santo Ántónio?
There are three within 20 minutes in Portugal a few more in Spain.
Is Quinta da ria one of them? But riding a bicycle in that road is probably not safe.
