Hi Nancy, my husband and I enjoy all your tales but I wanted to comment here because we live part time in Funchal and the rest in Setúbal and enjoyed Carnaval this year. We were at that restaurant A Gruta which did have good food and drinks but after struggling to get any photos I think the bleachers would be my choice next time even though no dinner included. Let me know if you ever come to Setúbal. We love VRSA too.
Sorry, we didn't meet when we were at A Gruta. Re Setúbal: we purchased several Maria Po pieces and had pendant lights made by Reborn. These items are among our favorite items in our new home. We likely will be back in Setúbal and will hope to meet you then.
