Georgia (the country, not the state), we've been. The people and the land that they inhabit, and for sure - the wine - - - all wonderful. You should go. Add Georgia to your "Go List". If you can - Go. (Again, thank you for bringing us along on your wonderful journey. Like you, your words - shine.)
Another interesting read that makes me consider going there in January when the hordes haven't yet arrived. Love your observations and recommendations!
Your posts are so enjoyable and informative, Nancy. I’m adding Mallorca to our list of places to visit. Have you watched Drops of God (Apple TV)? A series about wine tasting. Your post made me think of it. Craig and I send our best wishes to you and Denise.
Haven't been to Mallorca for years, but this has made me want to go back! Excellent tip on the nose reset btw - I don't drink wine but I love shopping for perfume so this will definitely come in!
Another great read. The pictures almost remind me of Funchal. Stunning architecture - I’ve noticed the older the church the more austere, though, and this also may be because mosques were converted to churches. Mallorca is also home to Rafa Nadal, in case you happened to see him around!
Good read. Our daughter lives in Mallorca so we have been there quite a few times, but I was not aware of the Gaudi buildings in Palma. We will have to check them out the next time we are there. If you ever go again the northeast tip of the island is really cool. Pollença, Puerto Pollença and old town Alcudia are beautiful. And watching the sunset from Formentor is spectacular.
Gaudi buildings and good wine? Sign me up! Thanks for another great post. Footnotes 4 and 5 were very instructive. I'll do better tastings now.
I love my footnote readers!

Thank you, you're a great virtual tour guide. The photos were excellent.

Yes the Mallorcans are very fond of their tennis star. We saw his academy during our visit to the caves.
That almost makes me want to drink wine!
Is it an American usage to say 'wondering' instead of 'wandering'? In English to wonder about is to speculate and to wander about is to roam around.
You are correct…thanks for the edit
