this is really nice. Did this come furnished? My wife and I will be looking in Cascais T2 or T3 preferably 2 bathrooms and will need a furnished apt/house that accepts dogs(2 small). Seems daunting and I'm a little nervous about finding place. We hope we can find something similar to yours.

Yes it came furnished...many of the short term apartments during covid were converted to long term...thus finding furnished was not a problem. Unfortunately this owner is turning it back into an Airbnb. If you need a good realtor please email me. I will put you in touch with Elizabeth.

Thank you for sharing. Very interesting as I just moved here and I am also looking for an apartment. Could you tell me which building you are in.

We are one block from Finanças/Loja Cascais, closer to Ave. Abril 25. The pinky/orange building with stores and offices on ground and 1st floor and only six apartments on 2nd and third floors.

So happy for you two! Looks like you made it! I don’t really know the back story as to why you are just now getting into these digs....trial and error? .... But there’s no looking back now. Enjoy!!!

To qualify for the visa you need to rent a place without seeing it (what I called the D7 accommodations. We wanted something nicer and rented this place. But days before we were to move it the newly installed plumbing burst and flooded the place. But we had already given notice, so our realtor found us an Airbnb around the corner to hold us over until our place was dried and new flooring installed.
