Thank you for these posts, Nancy. I'm trying to visualize car-free life in Portugal as a retiree while sitting on a couch in Boston. Plan to make an exploratory trip in September. As for excursions, have you discovered lisboa carfree? https://www.instagram.com/lisboa_carfree/ The poster provides details for visiting many different places in and around Lisbon relying on public transportation and a pair of sturdy legs. Tchau!
Scott, we typically use Google Maps or the MobiCascais app. There is also a private bus service called Royal Express which offers deals...e.g. under 10euros to get to the Algarve from Cascais. Thanks for the heads up.
I’m absolutely loving your daily adventures. Even a trip to a bank, lunch in an Italian restaurant and a walk on the beach ( with pictures ) is definitely enjoyable. Two question, what app are you using to discover restaurants and how to you pronounce a town that start with three vowels. Keep exploring with us. I’m walking with you.
Hi Jackie. The local restaurant review app is Zomato. As for pronunciation, I can't figure out how to explain other than to say all three are sounded flowing one to the next.
Train best the Paoli local.
Sounds lovely. Also, have you noticed you have a propensity for viewing Denise's ass in your pix?
