It is such a thrill to walk from one country to another. Mike and I got to do it from Austria into Germany - the old border patrol shack with barrier was till there. I'm glad you all survived the floating bridge on your way back to Portugal.

Nancy do you think that smuggling was done in the 1900's between VRSA and Ayamonte? I would think this would've been an ideal spot and super close to the Atlantic as well.

I'm not sure...the current/tide is much stronger here and the width a bit wider
