There was a glow party here in Sao Martinho do Porto. I am always blown away by the sense of community and good times in Portugal, from week long festivities for Sainto Anotonio, to Children´s Day, to Mardi Gras, the Sardinha Festival, to all the other festivities all year long. This is something we do not experience in the US. I love it!
Can just imagine the 70's Deadheads groovin' it up with glo sticks ;) must have been a wonderful experience. The camaras are good at bringing the festa to the people and retaining the strong sense of community. I'm told the youth in Lisbon head to Bairro Alto on a Saturday night until 2am, then to the nightclubs in Cais do Sodre from 2pm onwards often to 6am... One thing I can say for the Portuguese is they know how to party. Well done for connecting VRSA to the GD in a relevant, unexpected way!
The only drawback to the super concerts and happenings is the noise as the participants leave around 2a.m. They seem to single out my apartment to stand under for a good long conversations. In this heat I feel a little cranky. Still, there is a wonderful atmosphere.
Hello ladies. My name is Corie Dilts, 63 yr young active chick 😎, moving to Altura along with my wife 68 yr young Sharon Bone. We LOVE Portugal especially Altura, Monte Gordo and VRSA❤️.
We would like to meet everyone at some point. I’m glad I found this page of yours👏👍
and now 53 years later the Grateful Dead play inside a giant glowing sphere I Las Vegas.
