Nancy, the video is a great addition to your blog. This one made me hold my breath for a minute. I used to own a 1966 John Deere tractor that wasn't very reliable. If I'd driven it into the ocean, that's probably where it would have stayed!

What an interesting and delightful find! Your video makes me feel ready to hop on a plane and leave gloomy, gray, freezing Michigan for your blue sky over a beach!!

We ate at one of the restaurants on the beach back in October. Great meal. The beach was empty as well back then. Loved the video.

I hate to admit it but I never gave any thought to boats needing a bay. I would love to watch the boats being hauled on shore especially while enjoying new friends and wine!

I love that area in the Algarve. Warmer, lovely beaches and calmer. Enjoy.

Later today I am taking a walk with a couple that “met” me through the blog and are visiting the area as they explore Portugal. I enjoy these opportunities… so when in the area please email me so we can meet.

I will definitely do that! I was telling my husband, Bryan, about yours and Denise’s adventures and that I was going to reach out to you before we go there. We booked a place in Tavira for 3 nights May 11-14. We live in Richmond, CA, but I spent much of my childhood in SF. We would love to meet up with you!
