Love your chronicles. Love the foreign perspective they bring. Being a national is a pleasure to find new and sometimes fresh views. I’ll keep following you around! Ana Margarida Martins

Ha! I think Julie and I got stuck on that same narrow street when we were there in October! We still tell the tale and the exaggerations get better and better. We really did like that town and area. We ate at a different restaurant which was good but you really needed to know Portuguese because nobody spoke any English. We got by with my limited Portuguese and thoroughly enjoyed the meal (I had migas). Glad you guys found the spot.

Great post. Can’t wait to bathe in the salad dressing; and the zip line!! That’s been added (towards the top!) to my must-do list. Thanks

I just discovered you – we're motivated as my partner and I will be landing in Lagos (a flat in old town) in July! Very excited and you tickle that bone!

You say you are not "a writer" (to paraphrase) but methinks thou dost protest too much!

Nancy, Thanks again and again for your posts. I especially love the ones about a new discovery in this small country with SO much. It's fun to be a big fish in a little pond, especially where the fish is so good. Sorry I was fishing for a joke. Anyway, to a fellow "Portugal Lover", I say saude to you! Muito Obrigado.

P.S. Google maps sucked in this town.

I have found Google maps to suck in Europe in general. Try using Here. It's never failed me.
