Twilight in Coimbra

Magical

We walked about 40 minutes from our Airbnb to the stadium in Coimbra for the Andrea Bocelli concert. We also walked home after midnight. Safety is one of the things we love about Portugal.

The walk from our Airbnb took us across the river.

That and the light. The sun seems somehow brighter in the morning and when it sets, it is magical.

Next Week: Salty boats, life without noise, and we are apartment swapping.

And to my family and friends in the United States, I wish you a happy and safe 4th of July. Let us all be reminded of the second line penned 245 years ago:
