The Streets are Empty

A Morning Walk in Cascais

When life finally returns to normal, we will likely be shell-shocked. The streets of Cascais are empty.

Onix prefers the smooth granite slabs to the cobblestones.

While we are happy to be away from the “guard” dogs that lived on nearly every property that surrounded our D7 accommodations, this is a bit eery. I wonder as I pass one shuttered restaurant or shop after another … how many will return? Only time will tell.
