We went back to Evora last weekend. This time with friends. We stayed at The Noble House again, this time in a two-bedroom suite. We made a return visit to Enoteca Cartuxa on Saturday night. It overlooks the Roman Temple of Évora which is bathed in light after sunset.
Thought to be built in the first century A.D. to honor Augustus, many of the locals call it the Temple of Diana. Whatever you call it, it really is something to see.
Next Week: Monoliths, vineyards with a history, and friendly Americans.
How fabulous, gorgeous photos!
