While the lockdown has not been lifted, beaches and parks reopened last weekend. On Sunday, we spent some time in the Parque Marechal Carmona in historical Cascais. Trails wander through gardens. Small stone bridges allow you to traverse streams.
There are large open fields for play and tree-covered picnic areas to enjoy a snack. Sculptures and beautiful buildings that house museums dot the landscape. We look forward to visiting the museums when they reopen. Meanwhile, Onix enjoyed the roosters, ducks, and peacock that roam freely.
